We understand that your data is of a huge concern.

That’s why Community Computers has data destruction at it’s core. We have invested a huge resources around getting data destruction right, from physical crushing machines and magnetic degaussing machine to software solutions – we take what we do very seriously.

We also work with some of the largest national businesses in the UK – handling thousands of peices of equipment evey month. Our bespoke systems allow us to keep track of everything, knowing where it came from , where it’s upto and eventually, where it went.

Residents - How you can help

We no longer do pickups from residents. But don’t worry – we work with local libraries in Stockport and Manchester, who have agreed to act as drop-off points for your donations. They will hold your equipment securely and hold it for us until we collect it (roughly every 2-3 weeks).

All your equipment goes through he exact same data destruction processes as our business suppliers and we generate all the same evidence for our external auditors – the only difference is we don’t send you copies of those certificates to cut down on administration.
